LetsCrak policies
Terms of Service
The terms for using LetsCrak, commissioning project work, and purchasing hosting, maintenance, or premium app access.
Last updated:
1. Who these terms cover
LetsCrak provides website and software development, automation, hosting, maintenance, and premium access to its apps, including LetsMute. These terms cover letscrak.com and purchases made directly from LetsCrak. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean LetsCrak; “you” means the visitor or customer.
Read these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Service Delivery Policy. A written quote or order identifies what you are buying. Any different project-specific terms must be expressly agreed before payment; a later policy update does not retrospectively change an existing order.
You must be legally able to enter into the purchase, or have a parent or guardian make it on your behalf. If you order for a business, you must have authority to act for it.
2. Quotes, scope, and orders
A website enquiry is not an order. Before project work begins, we agree a written scope, price, advance payment, balance payment date, deliverables, and delivery schedule with you. Package descriptions explain the service; the accepted quote defines your particular project.
We quote additional work and changes separately and obtain your agreement before proceeding. You are responsible for providing accurate instructions, lawful content, required access, and timely feedback. If missing materials or a scope change affects delivery, we explain the impact and agree an updated schedule.
3. Prices and payments
We price our services and products in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR) and US dollars (USD). Your quote or order states the agreed currency and price. Check the total and actual transaction currency on the payment page before authorising payment; a payment method may support only certain currencies. Any applicable tax or additional charge must be disclosed before you pay.
Project work is paid through an agreed advance at the start and the remaining balance before the project deadline, on the dates set out in your quote. Milestone amounts and any final handover conditions are agreed before payment. We do not apply an unagreed fixed advance percentage to every project.
Where we offer payment through Payments.lk, card details are entered through its payment checkout and processed through Payable. Do not send card details to LetsCrak by email or through the enquiry form. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate or fees when your card currency differs from the transaction currency.
A payment confirmation confirms payment, not completion of project work. Keep your invoice and transaction reference. If a payment appears to have failed but your account was charged, contact us before paying again so we can check it.
4. Hosting, maintenance, and premium subscriptions
Our recurring hosting, maintenance, and premium app plans renew automatically until cancelled. The plan or order must state the price, currency, billing interval, included service, and first billing date before you authorise recurring payments. A one-time purchase is identified as such and has no recurring charge.
You can stop future renewals by emailing us before the next renewal is processed, identifying the subscription and requesting cancellation. If the service or store provides subscription controls, you may also use them. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; it does not itself refund that period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for exceptions and how to make a request.
Any change to a recurring price or billing interval will be communicated before it applies, with an opportunity to cancel before the affected renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we may pause the paid service after notifying you. The plan description states any specific limits, support coverage, or service availability commitments.
5. Delivery and review
Services and premium access are delivered electronically. Project dates, review rounds, acceptance criteria, and support periods are stated in the quote. Hosting and subscription access follow the activation arrangements shown with the order. Our Service Delivery Policy explains handover, access problems, and delays.
Tell us if a deliverable does not match the agreed scope so we can investigate and correct it. New features and preferences outside that scope may require a separate quote. Payment does not waive your right to report a defect.
6. Ownership and licences
Once the agreed project price is fully paid, the custom deliverables created for you are handed over with the ownership or usage rights stated in your quote. Third-party software, open-source components, fonts, stock assets, and existing tools remain subject to their own licences. We identify separately licensed items where relevant to your project.
Buying premium app access gives you a licence to use the paid features for the purchased period under the applicable plan. It does not transfer ownership of the app or its source code. You retain rights in the materials you supply and must have permission to use them.
7. Acceptable use and access
Do not use our website, hosting, services, or apps for unlawful activity, malware, unauthorised access, harassment, or infringement of another person's rights. Keep account credentials secure and notify us if you suspect misuse. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, a security threat, or a legal requirement, and explain the reason where lawful and practical.
A restriction does not automatically forfeit money owed back to you. Any cancellation or refund is assessed under our published policy and applicable law.
8. Third-party platforms and app stores
Domains, cloud platforms, payment providers, and app stores have their own terms. Purchases billed by an app store are managed through that store's billing and refund process; contact us if you need help identifying the correct channel. App-specific terms explain use of the app, while its privacy notice explains permissions and data processed within it.
9. Responsibility and customer rights
We are responsible for providing the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee a particular search ranking, business result, or uninterrupted operation of third-party infrastructure unless expressly included in your agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a claim relating to a project or purchase is limited to the amount paid for that project or purchase. This does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything the law does not allow us to exclude, or remove any mandatory customer remedy.
10. Questions, disputes, and changes
Sri Lankan law governs these terms, without removing mandatory rights that apply to you. Contact us first with the order reference and an explanation of the issue so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from contacting your payment provider, a competent authority, or a court with jurisdiction.
We publish changes on this page with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively. Material changes affecting an ongoing subscription will be communicated before they take effect, with an opportunity to cancel future renewals.
